I’m Suzanne Crossland—a creative soul, photographer, designer, and lifelong traveler who believes that travel has the power to change us. Every journey opens our minds, deepens our appreciation for different cultures, and reminds us that the world is far more connected than we often realize.

After my divorce, I took my first solo trip to Europe, spending time in Málaga, southern Spain, with my daughter before her move to Dubai. It was also my first trip after the pandemic. With no agenda and nowhere I had to be, I wandered at my own pace, lingered in cafés, discovered hidden streets, and slowly rediscovered myself through new places and experiences.

That trip transformed the way I traveled forever.

I realized I wasn't interested in rushing from one landmark to the next. I fell in love with the art of slow travel—taking the time to connect deeply with each destination, its people, its traditions, and the simple moments that often become the most unforgettable memories.

As I shared my journey on social media, something unexpected happened. Women began reaching out from around the world, telling me how much my travels resonated with them. Many confessed they dreamed of traveling but had been putting everyone else's needs before their own. Their messages reminded me how easy it is for women to spend years caring for family, careers, and responsibilities while forgetting to nurture their own sense of adventure.

One morning, while walking along Málaga's beautiful seaside promenade, everything became clear.

I realized I wanted other women to experience the same joy, confidence, and freedom I had found—not simply by visiting Spain, but by experiencing Spain through my eyes. To slow down. To savor long conversations over wine. To discover charming villages, local traditions, hidden restaurants, and meaningful connections that can't be found in a guidebook.

That's how Travels by Su was born.

Today, I curate intimate small-group journeys designed for women who believe travel is about much more than checking destinations off a list. It's about creating memories, building friendships, embracing curiosity, and returning home inspired by the world—and perhaps even by yourself.
